Angely Orbe
Chief Financial Officer
Angely Orbe serves as the CFO of the Bronx Economic Development Corporation. With a strong background in finance and accounting, Angely brings valuable experience to her role, overseeing and managing all the financial activities of BXEDC.
Prior to BXEDC, Angely worked in both the private sector and higher education. At NCC Media, a National Advertising and Sales company, she excelled in managing the credit risk assessment and accounts receivables for their largest portfolio of New York based clients. Additionally, Angely worked for Columbia University, where she oversaw the post-award financial administration of a diverse portfolio of private and public grants awarded to the Medical Center and Morningside Campus. Her analytical and problem-solving skills were instrumental in resolving complex reconciliation challenges resulting from changes to the University’s accounting system.
As a New York native and a proud resident of the Bronx, Angely is passionate about economic development in her community. Currently, she is pursuing an Executive Master of Public Administration at Columbia University. Angely completed her bachelor’s degree in economics at Fordham University.
